Despite hellacious winds yesterday I managed to get 6 big pots and 5 window boxes planted with cold tolerant (in fact even cold loving) veggies. I had to water the soil good (would have done that anyway), plant the seeds, cover them lightly with soil and then quickly water each container as I went to keep the dry soil from being blown away. This 'weekend' my sleep schedule got a little turned around. I predicted this would happen when the weather got nicer and I wanted to stay awake to enjoy it. I took a nap - around 2.5 hours - earlier and then got up and had dinner. It still feels a little weird to be having the main meal of the day at 2 am but not so bad. In the last year or so my TV viewing has been curtailed quite a bit. Partly it's due to lack of time but a lot of it is due to lack of interest.
